Every procedure now keeps an automatic, read-only timeline of what changed, who changed it, and why, from the first draft to the version on the floor today. Created, submitted, approved, changed, published, restored, each with a name and a timestamp. Built for audits, with no manual changelog to maintain. Available on Pro and Enterprise.
Feedback now lives on the procedure itself, not in scattered chats. Leave a comment on the whole procedure, a single step, or the Procedure Details, reply in threads, and resolve it when it is handled. Frontline staff can flag a problem with comment access without being able to edit. Available on every plan.
Turn on approvals and nothing publishes until an approver signs off. A clean path: draft, submit for review, then approve and publish or request changes with a reason. My Reviews gives every approver a personal queue with a badge. An optional four-eyes rule blocks self-approval. Off by default. Available on Pro and Enterprise.
Sharing got simpler. Two ideas now cover who can do what: your org role (Owner, Admin, Creator, Member) and a share's access level (view, comment, edit, manage). Shared workspaces grant the whole team the right access by role, with nothing to set up. Restricted workspaces keep procedures scoped to specific people. There is no private toggle: add a person, a workspace, or a link and it is shared.

Open the SOP, click the three-dot menu, and choose Version media to see every source file. Useful for archiving raw footage, sharing it with a supplier, or re-cutting a video outside SOPX without uploading it again.
Bundle every SOP for a machine, line, or department behind one shareable URL or QR code. Open a workspace, open the folder, and click Share. The link or QR opens a view of every procedure inside, no account needed. Print the QR next to the equipment and operators land on the right set of procedures without searching.

After 30+ interviews with operations business owners, CEOs, managers, training managers, and plant supervisors, we had enough signal to commit. Three days in Bilbao at Enlit Europe 2025, in the startup zone. We came to show our field inspection product. The conversations that mattered most ended up being about the early SOPX prototype. Utility and manufacturing managers from across Europe asked if they could try it. That pushed SOPX to the front of our roadmap.
PoC ready, we hit the road. Plant tours, engineering departments, production lines. We demoed the early version to business owners, operations and training managers, then sat with them to understand the gap between what we had built and what they actually needed. Honest, sometimes brutal, feedback shaped everything that came next.
SOPX started inside TagPlan, our field inspection SaaS. Customers kept asking the same thing: how do we document physical processes without spending weeks on it? After 20+ interviews with utility, field service and manufacturing teams, the gap was obvious. We built a proof of concept that would become SOPX.
